Detached ADU Construction

Degan Construction designed and built this 1,000 sq ft detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) in just 5 months. High ceilings make the unit feel spacious. It includes a full kitchen with quartz counters and a black pull-down faucet, bedrooms with ceiling fans and sliding doors to a private patio, two bathrooms with glass showers and matte black fixtures, and stacked laundry. Outside there are a lit paver walkway, new fencing and a concrete patio. California ADU laws have made detached ADUs much easier to permit, and they are a popular way for Bay Area homeowners to house family members or earn rental income.
