San Carlos Home Addition and Full Remodel
This home addition and full remodel on Alameda de las Pulgas in San Carlos brought a mid-century Peninsula home up to date. The open kitchen has a deep green waterfall island with marble-look quartz, white perimeter cabinetry, globe pendant lights and skylights. The kitchen flows into a large family room with sliding doors to the yard. The bathrooms feature backlit round mirrors, warm wood vanities, brushed-brass fixtures and marble-look walk-in showers with lit niches. Many San Carlos homes were built in the 1940s through the 1960s on modest footprints, and an addition with a full remodel is often the best way to get modern space without leaving the neighborhood.
